Air Cylinders Direct offers a comprehensive line of cylinder proximity switches and sensors. Our offering includes Reed, PNP and NPN electronic type sensors as well as a full complement of cables and connectors.

Magnetic field sensors respond to an external magnetic field. They are widely used for piston positioning in pneumatic cylinders. Most pneumatic cylinders predominately use aluminum, thin-wall stainless steel, or composite tubing for the cylinder barrel enabling the field sensors to respond to the internal magnet.
